Based on these results the diagnoses of subgenus Longandrena and genus Dasypoda have been corrected and updated. The hitherto unknown female of Dasypoda (Heterodasypoda) michezi Radchenko, 2017 has been described, and a conservation status of this endemic for South Portugal species is discussed. Taxonimic study of sarcophagus flies from the Middle East and Afrotropics resulted in establishing of 120 new synonyms for three subfamilies, one tribe, 29 genera and 67 species. Two new genera and 24 new species have been described and 73 new generic combinations have been proposed. The rank of nineteen genera has been decreased to subgenera. Numerous new records expanded considerably the current knowledge of biodiversity of Sarcophagidae flies in Middle East and Afrotropical Region. As a result of the study of biodiversity and systematic of Lepidoptera two new species of Coleophoridae, one new genus and one new species of Pyralidae have been described from Ukraine, and twelve species have been recorded from the country for the first time. Additionally from different region of Old World, 36 new species and one new genus of micromoths have been described, three new generic and 21 new species synonyms and one new replacement name have been proposed, twelve species have been transferred to other genera and four taxa have been re-instated as separate species. Three new species have been described from Panama. The study of ecology and behavior of ants in the cities revealed that urban conditions can be favorable for the formation of supercolonies not only of invasive ant species, but also for natural species.
