The object of research is a collection of long flax samples of the Institute of Bast Crops of NAAS. The purpose of research - To identify and carry out certification of flax varieties by quantitative characteristics on the basis of molecular - cytological markers of chromosomes. The subject of research is the molecular basis of a sign of flax seed productivity. Research methods - laboratory, statistical. The practical value of the results obtained. Twenty-two flax cultivars were studied using oligonucleotide RAPD primers and cluster analysis associated with a sign of seed productivity. As a result of the conducted researches a small number of loci on electrophoregrams was revealed, which indicates low efficiency of primers and clusters of related varieties. Thus, the obtained results allow to identify the necessary markers associated with the trait of seed productivity and to select on the basis of this trait, reducing the long-term evaluation of the material in the field.
