Purpose: to create a new source material and derive on its basis a variety of white alkaloid lupine, highly productive in terms of seeds and green mass, with improved fodder qualities, resistant to major diseases, suitable for environmentally friendly cultivation technologies. Research methods: field, laboratory, measuring and weighing, mathematical and statistical. The main results of the research: a new high-yielding and precocious breeding material of white fodder lupine was created. New breeding numbers are characterized by homogeneity, stability, difference of signs, high productivity of seeds (to 15 g from 1 plant) and green weight (to 140 g from 1 plant), short vegetation period (105-110 days), resistance to diseases and spring frosts, and also differ in the improved forage qualities: the increased content of protein (to 40.5%) and low content of alkaloids (to 0.3% in seeds). A comprehensive assessment of the new material was carried out in all nurseries of the selection process and on the infectious fusarium background.
