The purpose of the study is to identify the physiological and social capabilities of the system for monitoring the human ability to work to improve the health of the population and increase the labor potential of territorial communities. Research methods - statistical, metastatic, socio-hygienic (online polling in social networks). A methodological approach to assessing the labor potential of the region is proposed. The quantitative and qualitative indicators of the constituent parts, which characterize the state of the labor potential of the territory, have been substantiated. With the help of the sigma method of assessment, territories with a coordinated and unbalanced development of qualitative and quantitative aspects of labor potential were identified. In the conditions of quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, 874 people underwent self-diagnosis of health through online monitoring "Health Passport". The distribution of the examined according to the health scales was obtained: 1 level - 0.11%, 2 level - 18.99%, 3 level - 27.23%, 4 level - 42.54%, 5 level in 8.12% of persons.
