The subject of research is the ecological efficiency of biological reclamation of water bodies of Ukraine. The purpose of the work - Assessment of the ecological efficiency of biological reclamation of water bodies of Ukraine and development of recommendations for establishing the ecological need for its implementation (or adjustment). Research methods - The goal set in the work is achieved by using the methods of complex analysis, generalization of data from domestic and foreign information sources; analytical research, methods of mathematical modeling. The tasks were performed on the basis of statistical data, stock materials, official data of environmental monitoring and the results of our own field research. Basic methods of field and laboratory research: visual research, water sampling and biota according to standardized methods. The general scales of biological reclamation are determined and the role of biological reclamation in the formation of the ecological state of water bodies of Ukraine of different economic purposes is estimated. Developed recommendations for establishing the need for (or adjusting) biological reclamation to improve the ecological status of water bodies.
