A tool for the use of phytotechnologies based on the action of higher aquatic plants for the treatment of all categories of wastewater in settlements, namely: treatment of surface wastewater in built-up areas and enterprises; additional treatment of domestic wastewater; improving the ecological condition of Ukraine's rivers, especially small rivers. The use of phytoremediation technologies in water consumption systems from eutrophied surface water bodies is substantiated. The use of technologies based on phytoremediation processes is an ecologically acceptable and economically promising direction of improving water treatment conditions from eutrophic water bodies, creating water treatment systems, improving the ecological condition of rivers, especially small ones, domestic wastewater treatment, surface and sewage treatment.
