The purpose of the study is to develop, theoretically substantiate and experimentally test fundamentally new competency-oriented models of professional development of teachers of Vocational Education Institutions throughout life, taking into account socio-cultural and educational transformations. Competence-oriented models of professional development in the context of formation and development of their scientific-methodical, psychological-pedagogical, digital, conflict, coaching, etc. competencies were developed, experimentally tested and implemented in the system of teacher training for the first time; extrapolation of the designed innovative models of professional development of pedagogical competence of pedagogical workers of Vocational Education Institutions is carried out (target, axiological, acmetechnological, activity-implementing, managerial, monitoring-effective, reflective) on the system of professional development of teachers of Vocational Education Institutions; the formative-procedural stages of competence and acme-oriented professional training of teachers are determined and perspective culturally appropriate forms of its institutionalization in the system of Continuous Vocational Education are developed; technologies of scientific and methodical support of realization of competence-oriented models of professional development of teachers of professional education in professional-qualification, didactic, social, marketing, information-communication, monitoring, psychological-motivational, consulting, coaching directions are selected. The results of the study can be used in the process of modernization of the national education system, in particular in the activities of educational and methodical centers of Vocational Education.
