Results: Carcinogenesis and radiation-induced RCC pathomorphosis were studied. A high level of histological malignancy was found in patients from radionuclide-contaminated regions of Ukraine, compared with clean ones. Thickening of the glomerular basement membrane was revealed. A group with signs of aggressive RCC, with the presence of foci of sarcoma-like growth to malignancy was identified, immunohistochemical markers were identified to improve the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of RCC.
