Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  Object: - plasmas of tokamaks and stellarators; - low-temperature dusty plasma afterglow; - metamaterials and waveguides; lower hybrid cavities in the Earth's ionosphere; hydrogen plasma in discharges with metalhydride elements. Subject: - relativistic electron kinetics and transport processes in thermonuclear plasmas; dielectric tensor, dispersion characteristics, excitation and absorption of natural waves in tokamaks and stellatorators, waveguides and structures with metamaterials; - physical processes of formation of protective layer at metalhydride surface and temperature stabilization; - dust particle dynamics in afterglow plasma; particle transport processes in lower hybrid cavities. Purpose of work: - obtaining relativistic transport equations for electrons; developing the kinetic theory of waves in axially symmetric tokamaks; - studying physical processes in hydrogen plasmas with metalhydrides; studying the electrodynamic characteristics of structures with metamaterials; - developing the theory of dusty plasma in the afterglow mode; determining the effect of non-uniform electrostatic turbulence on transport processes. The following results were obtained: - the theory of spatially inhomogeneous dusty plasma in the afterglow mode in the drift-diffusion approximation was developed and the time dependences of the charge, velocity, coordinate, and acceleration for dust particles with different radii, at different working gas pressures and initial electron densities were calculated; - the influence of the working gas pressure and the initial electron density on the motion of the dust particles in the afterglow plasma was determined; - the Braginsky equations are generalized to the case of relativistic thermonuclear plasma and written down in a form that allows one to use existing transport codes to solve the resulting relativistic equations; - axially symmetric models of cylindrical and toroidal plasmas with a powerful electric current a Product Description popup.authors Azarenkov Mykola O.
