The obtained data on the prevalence of zoonoses in Ukraine, in particular, in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, were processed. Methods of detection and diagnosis of parasitic diseases with the use of immunobiological methods to identify pathogens at different stages of development, as well as their DNA. The study of pathogens of parasitic diseases that are common in the Chernobyl zone of radioactive contamination and adjacent areas of Ukraine. Thus, as a result of studies in 93.75% of rodents (Rodentia Muroidea) of the genera Apodemus and Myodes revealed the presence of pathogens of infectious and protozoan diseases, including rickettsia, spirochetes, babesia, hepatozoons and toxoplasmosis. Erythrocyte pathology was also detected in all smears: Jolie bodies and polychromatophiles, which may also be associated with the defeat of these animals by pathogens of blood-borne parasitic diseases.
