The work purpose is technology reprocessing of zirconia, sta-bilized by CaO, ramming mix with 10 % Al2O3 addition. The research methods are standard meth-ods for determining chemical composition and physical and mechanical properties of refractories, petrographic, X-ray phase analysis. The influence of alumina addition (α-Al2O3 > 90 %) of different manufacturers on the main properties of samples from zirconia, stabilized by CaO, ramming mix with 10 % Al2O3 addition was studied. It was found that, the use of studied alumina addition in the amount of 10 % in the composition of zirconia, stabilized by CaO, ramming mix provides quite close properties indicators of samples fired at 1580 °C, and the feasibility of introducing alumina from these manufacturers in the composition of indicated mix was shown. As a result of the carried out researches, the raw material base for production of zirconia, stabilized by CaO, ramming mix with 10 % Al2O3 addition was expanded. In JSC "URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy” pilot batches of ramming mix and powders for plasma coating from zirconia, stabilized by CaO, with indicators of properties that meet the requirements of technical specifications (TS), as well as magnesia - chromite powders with indicators of properties that meet the requirements of TS and the consumer were made. Manufactured refractory products were supplied to consumers on foreign (exports to Russia, Belarus) and domestic markets.
