The subject of research - processes aimed at creating a modified structure of chemicals under normal conditions and its change under fire on the insulating expanded layer of foam, improving their performance - penetrating and protective action, environmental friendliness and durability. The aim of the work is to create environmentally friendly fire-retardant materials for flammable structures made of textile materials by modifying polymeric substances of inorganic composition based on flame retardants and forming a heat-resistant structure of coke layer on the surface under high temperature action. Research methods: a comprehensive research method is used, which includes theoretical studies of combustion of tissue samples depending on the thermophysical properties of flame retardants, analytical calculation method and experimental method for determining the conditions of tissue protection against fire and thermal destruction, numerical methods of mathematical analysis and physics -chemical research methods. The report provides a literature review of the problem, identified raw materials, additives, modifiers and flame retardants, methods for designing and selecting the composition of compositions with the definition of restrictions on influencing factors, taking into account the criteria for assessing their properties.
