HSP spirals are designed to heat the feed water to the desired temperature, followed by its supply to the heat exchanger - steam generator (SG). The steam generated in the SG enters the turbine, which drives the generators of the NPS unit. Characteristic features of HSP spirals are the presence of welded joints of tubular elements of spirals and their shanks, as well as the parameters of the moving through the HSP spiral environment - feed water supplied at a nominal pressure of 12.0 MPa (120 kgf / cm2) to the spiral, where it is heated to a temperature of + 235 ° C. Therefore, the design, manufacture and rehabilitation of HSP spirals is an urgent task for Ukrainian NPS power units with VVER-1000 reactors. A preliminary design of equipment for mechanized welding of high pressure pipelines of Ukrainian NPSs and developed basic circuit - design solutions for the technical design of the relevant domestic maintenance for mechanized welding of tubular elements of HSP spirals, submitted applications 2019 a 2019 11965 from 17.12. 2019 and 2020 003811 from 24.06.20 for obtaining the relevant patents for the main circuit - design solutions developed within the implementation of the innovation project.
