The subject of research is active dielectrics crystals, lithium germanates-based glass-ceramics and synthetic opals infiltrated by active dielectrics. The purpose of research is to develop methods for obtaining new nanostructured materials and the synthesis of compounds of active dielectrics of different dimensions for functional electronics and research of physical properties of synthesized materials. Research methods were growth of crystals from the melt to seed, infiltration of synthetic opals, X-ray diffraction, dielectric, optical and radiospectroscopy methods. Methods for growing crystals of active dielectrics have been developed; studies of photoinduced phenomena in crystals of active dielectrics, photonic crystals and nanostructured materials have been performed. The influence of external conditions on charge transfer processes and optical properties of the studied systems is analyzed.
