In our case it is: a) geophysical, b) geological and structural with mud volcanic activity, c) geochemical, d) mineralogical and e) paleontological ranks in terms of its informativeness to obtain a forecast area for parametric or exploratory drilling. For this purpose, an expert analysis of ranks was conducted, followed by statistical and concordant processing of results. This work allowed us to reach the second level of superposition, namely the sequence of application of information to achieve this goal. This determined the directional line of ranks and eventually the development of a method of directional-rank interpretation of geological and geophysical information, taking into account the theory of fluidogenesis. A system of forecasting criteria has been proposed, put into practice through search features, which will facilitate the discovery and, as a result, clear delineation of hydrocarbon deposits in the sedimentary cover of the Black Sea, primarily within the Ukrainian economic zone. At the same time, the application of the direction-ranking principle in the interpretation of geological and geophysical information will reduce the area of the exploration up to proposition of the point for installation of parametric, exploration and production wells. This will significantly reduce the time and cost of exploratory drilling and increase the chances of opening industrial hydrocarbon deposits that are crucially important for the Ukraine's energy, economics and national security.
