The aim of the work is to develop a comprehensive methodology for optimal design and manufacture of high-performance, highly reliable turbomachines taking into account different modes of operation based on research of thermogasodynamic processes, multilevel computer modeling of mechanical behavior of structural elements used in turbomachines. . Research methods - theoretical aspects of research are based on the fundamental principles of the theory of gas dynamics and thermodynamics, systems theory, the theory of automated design, as well as the theory of cutting. Developed: one-dimensional model of the flow part of the steam turbine for a multistage turbine; coaxial and axisymmetric model of the flow part of a multistage axial turbine; complex mathematical model of the flow of the working fluid from the entrance to the SPR system to the capacitor. Detailed analytical and parametric finite element models for determining the stress state and natural frequencies and oscillations of the elements of the flow part of the steam turbine have been developed. Algorithm and software for calculation of rational technological parameters of processing of thin - walled elements of turbomachines taking into account their rigidity are developed. The response surfaces are determined in analytical form for the maximum stresses and natural oscillation frequencies for the steam turbine blade, which, in contrast to the existing ones, allows to carry out optimization studies with functional limitations.
