The aim is to improve the results of surgical treatment of patients with intra-extra and extra-intracranial tumors by determining their anatomical, morphological features, optimizing diagnostic measures and surgical interventions based on reconstructive techniques, using the latest and innovative technologies. Research methods - clinical and neurological; neuroimaging - CT, MRI, angiography (AH); method of clinical-morphological and operative comparisons; statistical processing using "Statistics" programs for Windows 8.0.0. The study was conducted on the basis of analysis of the results of diagnosis and treatment of 154 patients who were operated on in the department of extracerebral tumors of the State Institution "Institute of Neurosurgery. acad. AP Romodanov National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine "for the last 8 years. Scientific relevance: optimal modern methods of surgical treatment are substantiated; standardization of defects of integumentary tissues of the head which allowed to develop classification of localization of the defects arising after removal of extracerebral tumors is carried out; classification of plastic options makes it possible to choose the most optimal plastic option taking into account the size, location of defects, age, general somatic condition of the patient, when replacing the combined defects of the facial and cerebral skull. The practical value of the work is that based on the experience gained, the best options for combined plastics defects after removal of extracerebral tumors; the use of modern diagnostic and therapeutic technologies prevents adverse effects of treatment and ensures the maximum quality of life of patients.
