The object of study is the collection of the National Museum of History of the Ukraine XX – beginning XXI century. The purpose of the work is to collect, attribute and systematize new documentary material from the modern history of Ukraine, to bring them into scientific circulation. Research methods – general scientific methods: logical analysis, generalization, special historical methods: comparative-historical, problem-chronological, statistical. The results of the NDR – collected, systematized and analyzed materials of modern history of Ukraine, which were discovered in the end. XX – beginning XXI century. Significant source material has been introduced to the scientific circulation, which allows to trace changes in the military, political, economic, and social sphere of Ukraine. The results of research and development are already used in practical museum activities and can be used to create new generalizations and specialized studies on various aspects of the history of modern Ukraine, in the preparation of educational courses in secondary and higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
