These studies were carried out on the border of philosophy of consciousness, medical sciences, and neurophysiology. It is argued that the main changes in the contemporary human paradigm are associated with the shift of the issue towards the natural beginning of a human being. It is proposed to use the concept of ‘basic anthropic characteristics of a human being”, and their definitions and structure are given. The influence of the development of science and technology on the transformation processes within the society and their significance for the formation of worldviews of an individual is analyzed. It outlines how global and paradigmatic shifts motivate both individuals and societies to disappear or change. It is proved that the change of human position in contemporary society is caused by transformational tendencies, which are connected with the development of information, biological and nanotechnologies. A comparative analysis of classical and non-classical human understanding under the conditions of spreading the concept of post-humanism is carried out. The peculiarities of human position in the world are also clarified, namely: its connection with the absolute and metaphysical in the naturalized and material world, human happiness in the pandemic era in terms of phenomenology, changes in human thinking under the influence of information technology and how they affect state of the humanities. The decline in the level of human self-consciousness under the conditions of the information “explosion” and the weakening of a person’s ability to consciously create his own opinion and express it have been asserted.
