For the first time, we describe number of adolescents affected by the COVID-19 infodemia and the peculiarities of the pandemic mythologizing. There are conclusions about psychosomatic comfort deterioration of adolescents due to distance education, connection between sleep problems and late evening screen practices, along with the perception of body cyborgization. Main identified tendencies are: a) growth of indicators of patriotism, in particular in information space; b) a significant increase in cyber-victimization due to distance education, in particular more than twice in most dangerous cyber risks; c) increasing the level of media creativity and its connection with the components of media culture and the level of mental discomfort; d) connection between high level of somatic discomfort and leisure activities. The media education trends of 2021 have been digital media education, health-preserving media education, parental media education. Two sets of methods are constructed for remote survey of parents and children ("Family information behavior and needs") and of teachers ("Information behavior and needs"). We offer a comprehensive approach to maintain the balance of screen time between children's learning and recreational practices. For the first time, it`s been presented a methodology of representative reflection for the media culture development during the pandemic. They are described in three dynamic newsletters, curriculum and guidelines for teachers; the course for internship "Media Art Therapy" for practical psychologists, social workers and teachers, course in cyberpsychology for the Young Scientists Academy; 7 programs for the online activities project "Media Culture in Pandemic Times" for teachers and parents of adolescents.
