The research aim was to study the peculiarities of changes in structure and functions of tumor cells after the influence of cryopreservation factors and nanocomplexes, both individually and jointly. Modern research methods used in the work were as follows: flow cytometry, real-time polymerase chain reaction, light microscopy, confocal microscopy, spectrophotometry, cryopreservation methods. Different cryogenic effects on the structure and functions of EAC cells were comparatively analyzed. The mode, capable to keep functional activity of EAC cells that is a prerequisite of its application as a method of their long-term preservation has been determined. Selected cryopreservation condition, inhibiting tumor growth on the background of inactivation of functional activity of all subpopulations of EAC cells except for the most tumorigenic CD44high cells, which had increased cryostability. It has been proven that the nanocomplexes based on nanoparticles of orthovanadates of rare earth metals and cholesterol were multifunctional nanocomposites, having both the ability to visualize EAC cells and antitumor activity. A new approach to inhibiting the proliferative activity of tumor cells by means of the combined use of cryoinfluence and nanocomposites, which can be used in the development of strategies for the oncology pathology treatment.
