The purpose of the study: to identify and study current issues of traditional and modern linguistics, related spheres, linguistic stylistics, etc.; current issues of literary criticism; to continue in-depth study of modern issues of methods of teaching English in educational institutions, taking into account modern digital technologies and their means, in terms of distance and blended learning for effective learning of applicants. Research results: topical issues of modern linguistics, literature and methods of teaching English are studied. Degree of implementation: implemented in the educational process of higher and secondary school, used to create scientific and popular science works in the field of linguistics, literature and methods of teaching English, development of textbooks.
