The subject of the research is the influence of the conditions of synthesis and modification of the surface of nanocomposites, the composition of the medium on their main physicochemical and adsorption parameters. The aim of the study is to develop, synthesize and study the properties of new multifunctional nanomaterials and nanocomposites for medical, biological and environmental purposes based on chemically modified magnetite and silica. Research methods: X-ray diffraction, derivatography, IR-Four, UV, atomic absorption spectroscopy and others. Results and their novelty: • new multifunctional nanocomposite materials based on silica and magnetite with high adsorption parameters were obtained; • their characteristics and operating conditions are optimized; • it is established that the synthesized nanostructures are characterized by adsorption activity in relation to cations of heavy and precious metals, oncological drugs; • developed an effective and safe method of preclinical control of cytotoxic activity of nanocomposites based on doxorubicin; • synthesized composites show high activity both in aqueous solutions and in biological fluids (in particular for the extraction of Pb ions from human donor blood plasma). The results are covered in 181 scientific publications, including 2 chapters of book, 5 patents, 62 articles, including indexes in the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, and 112 reports at international and national conferences.
