It is shown that the result of perception of educational materials largely depends on the functional state of students. As a result, there is a need to diagnose the current functional state of the listeners. It is determined that the state of listeners can be diagnosed through the use of neural network means for recognizing the psycho-emotional state of a person. It is established that in the modern scientific and applied literature the directions of researches on creation of the neural network means of recognition of the emotions intended for use in the conditions of system of distance learning are not enough fully outlined. As a result of the research, a conceptual model of neural network recognition of psychoemotional state of distance learning students was developed. It is determined that the directions of further research are related to the improvement of the methodological base of development and use of neural network means of recognizing the psycho-emotional state of students of the distance learning system.
