The possibility of using pyrocarbon obtained by pyrolysis of worn car tires as an effective adsorbent for water purification from oil pollutants has been established. The effectiveness of the use of drains for the collection and disposal of contaminated groundwater from refineries and other facilities where oil and petroleum products are stored for a long time has been proven.
