The urgency of research work is due, first of all, to the need to create information support for state environmental monitoring of the seas of Ukraine within the creation and implementation of the Maritime Strategy of Ukraine. The purpose of the research is to improve the information support of the marine environmental monitoring system within the implementation of the Maritime Strategy of Ukraine. The main objectives of the R&D are to improve the environmental information provision of marine nature, taking into account the requirements of the EU Marine Strategy Framework Directive (2008/56 / EU), including hardware and software, database development and interactive geo-information systems.
