Purpose: to determine the mechanisms of atmospheric-ionospheric interaction, characteristics of ionospheric response to various sources of electromagnetic and hydrodynamic perturbations in the lower atmosphere, as well as mechanisms of activity of waves and charged particles in the Earth's magnetosphere and tropospheric-stratospheric interaction in climate change. Research methods: theoretical calculations and computer modeling, ground-based observations and satellite measurements. A model of quasilinear diffusion of electrons in the Earth's radiation belt under the influence of Whistler wave emissions such as choruses has been developed. Validation of this model on the basis of direct measurements of the dynamics of relativistic electrons is performed. The spatial dimensions of micropulsations at ionospheric altitudes and the distribution of micropulsations by local time and geomagnetic latitude are determined. New data on the dynamics of the distribution of Whistler emissions in the inhomogeneous plasma of the Earth's magnetosphere, which are important to take into account in forecasting models of space weather, have been obtained. A quasi-static model is developed and the parameters of the electric field in the ionosphere and magnetosphere under the action of localized in the lower atmosphere of the current source. Seasonal and interannual changes in the total content and vertical distribution of ozone according to own terrestrial and satellite observations are determined. Methods of time series analysis have been developed and the parameters of planetary waves in the Earth's stratosphere have been analyzed. Product Description popup.authors Yevtushevskyj Oleksandr M.
