Objects of research – drug IDEPS, sodium persulfate. The main purpose is to determine the optimal storage conditions and composition of drug IDEPS with maximum activity. It is established that stability of three-component system [PS-NaOH-H2O] depends on storage temperature conditions. Thus, systems containing 5%, 15% PS, remain stable for 2 days at 100C. At 600C PS decomposes within 2 hours. At 00C, the decrease in PS concentration occurs in 3-5 days. Regardless of storage conditions, PS activity varies equally, regardless the content of three-component system [PS-NaOH-H2O]. In the presence of cellulose reducing agent (paper, cotton wool) the decomposition of PS is accelerated. Thus, at a molar ratio of [CL (paper):PS] = 1:1.4 and [PS:NaOH] = 1 - 3 (CPS = 10%, 14%) PS decomposes in 1-2 days. Decreasing the concentration of PS leads to an increase in decomposition time of latter: CPS = 5.3% - 4 days; CPS = 3.4% - 7-8 days. At high temperatures (300C, 600C) in the presence of CL (paper, cotton wool) the decay of PS occurs faster: at 300C in the presence of paper CPS decreases per day, while in the presence of cotton wool requires 3 days; at 600C in the presence of paper CPS falls in 1 hour, in the case of cotton wool - in 2 hours. Whereas in the control experiment CPS is reduced by 2 times within 7 days. Based on results of work, developed recommendations on a set of measures and conditions for maximum stabilization of the drug IDEPS with minimal loss of its activity, in particular: prepared solutions of activator and persulfate, to obtain the drug, it is recommended to store separately; reagent solutions can be combined by mixing before use; use IDEPS on the day of preparation for several hours to prevent loss of persulfate as a result of decomposition; reduce the amount of alkali from 15% to 10%; use cellulose as a co-activator of persulfate.
