Non-invasive options and high reliability of the techniques are beneficial in using them for the objects of high value. The techniques for express composition and structure analysis (proton-induced X-ray microanalysis, nuclear resonance reaction, the Rutherford back-scattering analysis, and recoil nuclei, etc.) are developed and implemented at the accelerating facility constructed at the Institute of Applied Physics NAS of Ukraine. The facility is equipped with a unique accelerating mass-spectrometer to date the artifacts. Non-invasive techniques have been developed to analyze ceramic, glass and metal archeological samples and cultural heritage objects with proton-induced X-ray microanalysis applied. The specificity of the analyzed objects (their archeological and museum value) required minimum probe-preparation and prevented the application of conductive film coating. Induced charge is removed with "bridges" of a conductive adhesive band near the sampling regions. The analysis was performed with a funny filter and evaluated with specially prepared samples of a known composition. The late-roman period coins and their barbarian imitations are analyzed with the abovementioned techniques. Specific features of the production technologies used by the "barbarian" workshops of the Kormilche and Abrykosivka villages (Khmelnitzkyi Region). Ceramic sample analysis may be exemplified by Old Rus ceramics analyzed for peculiarities and traditions found at various centers of the Old Rus pottery craft. According to the results, the Vyshhorod ceramics is presented by a compact group and is made of a material suitable for ceramics and terracotta production. This group also consists of some samples of the ceramics from Kyiv, Malopolovetskyi and Fastov (Koschyivka-8). There are the samples of lower quality, which are mostly typical for Malopolovetskyi.
