The latter proved to be particularly effective for controlling the movement of aircraft and missiles in the atmosphere. For controlled objects, the motion of which is described by systems of linear differential equations with constant coefficients, the invariant relations indicated by Feldbaum between the moments of switching control functions are analyzed. Analysis of these relationships has shown that oscillatory systems have, in addition to the known time constant, an energy time constant. The nature of this invariance is studied and examples of its application in the analysis of optimal control of missile motion in the atmosphere are given.
