The purpose of the work is to investigate the role of state control in Ukraine in quarantine conditions, aimed at combating illegal business activities of business entities, to formulate reasonable proposals and recommendations for improving the administrative and legal principles of control in the field of business activity in new conditions for society - the coronavirus pandemic. Research methods – methods of scientific abstractions and logical-semantic, formal-legal, statistical, comparative, comparative-legal, formal-logical. It is proposed to introduce amendments and additions to regulatory legal acts in order to harmonize the current legislation in connection with the adoption of legislative and other regulatory legal acts aimed at preventing the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus on the territory of Ukraine. It has been proven that in the conditions of quarantine, the implementation of state control over business entities has not lost its relevance, since illegal business activities continue to be carried out even in the conditions of the introduction of restrictive measures on the territory of Ukraine. It has been proven that, in case of unlawful business activity, there is a need to increase administrative and criminal liability for business entities based on the results of an unscheduled inspection. It has been established that the greatest success is currently achieved by those state control bodies for detecting and countering illegal business activity, which are focused on the use of high technologies, the involvement of educated specialists and leading scientists. That is, intellectual capital and high technologies are the main factor in the effective detection of illegal activity in the modern world.
