The determining role of processing energy intensity in the formation of processing technological parameters has been established. The effectiveness of the transition from grinding to turning and other methods of blade processing in the finishing operations is shown, which allows to significantly reduce the energy consumption of processing and, accordingly, the cutting force and temperature. It is shown that during the processing of high-precision holes, it is effective to apply progressive methods of high-speed boring and milling with modern prefabricated carbide tools with wear-resistant coatings on foreign-made high-speed CNC metal-cutting machines of the "machining center" type. This makes it possible to reduce the elastic movements that occur in the technological system and significantly increase the accuracy, quality and productivity of processing. The main results of the research were implemented in the educational process of Khnei National University named after S.
