It is intended for the regions most affected by the Chernobyl accident (Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Volyn and Chernihiv regions), where the content of radionuclides in agricultural products exceeds or approaches state hygiene standards. The implementation of measures to revive agro-industrial production on rehabilitated radioactively contaminated lands for the purpose of effective management of radioactively contaminated agrolandscapes of the Polissia of Ukraine is foreseen in the fields of crop production, animal husbandry and forestry. Contains a program of actions to ensure a harmonious combination of specialized countermeasures and modern trends in the development of the natural and economic complex under new economic conditions in a single system based on a landscape-ecological approach, i.e. a justified restriction of nature use with standards for the preservation of the natural environment and eco-safety on the basis of coordinating the activities of all economic entities within certain taxa of territorial zoning.
