The study goal - scientific and methodological justification of changes to the existing system of career management of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The study methods - system analysis, methods of multidimensional comparative analysis, synthesis. The main results of the study: Methodological recommendations on the procedure for the development and application of passports of military positions and algorithms for managing the careers of servicemen in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The proposed materials are to be realized in the activities of personnel services, which deal with issues of improving the procedure for military service in the context of the implementation of career management of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by military ranks, in the educational process of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky for the training of trainees and in further scientific research in this scientific direction.
