The molecular genetic basis of the development of autophagy with the involvement of microtubules in the implementation of the protective mechanisms of the plant cell under conditions of increased pressure of negative abiotic factors of the external environment was studied. New lines of plants have been created to increase the systemic resistance of plants to infectious disease agents of different origins and resistance to pests. Cellular mechanisms of influence (phytohormones, secondary mediators and cytoskeleton) of plant parasites and semi-parasites of Ukrainian flora on recipient plants were studied. A search was made for homologues of wheat and barley stem rust resistance genes in the genomes of T. aestivum, Ae. taushii, T. urartu and H. vulgare and clarification of the organization of their clusters and features of functional manifestation.
