The subject of research - methodological support for estimating values indicators of reliability, maintenance, and repair means of special communication. The purpose of the work is to improve the evaluation of efficiency operation and maintenance of the special communication system and its tools using a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of existing and advanced systems of special communication considering the assessment of reliability in the process of their design and experimental operation. Research methods - the theory of probability and reliability of large systems, theory of technical diagnostics and metrology, theory of mass maintenance. The main tasks of the work: - analysis of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of the system of special communication; - analysis of existing systems of technical operation of means and systems of special communication of Ukraine and substantiation of directions of its improvement in modern conditions; - Improving the methodology for estimating the values of reliability indicators advanced means of special communication during research operation; - substantiation of recommendations for the implementation of technical maintenance of special communication facilities, metrological and diagnostic support of their maintenance and repair; - development of methods for selecting measuring equipment and the sequence of inspections during maintenance by the state of the means of special communication. The results obtained in research work can be used in the educational process during the preparation and conduct of classes with disciplines of Special Departments of the Institute, as well as in training articles and reports, when writing textbooks and dissertations.
