Aim of study: Increasing the efficiency of the performance of highly qualified athletes of Ukraine at competitions through scientific substantiation of recommendations for improving the system of comprehensive assessment of the functional state of athletes, taking into account psychophysiological, psychological, electroneuromyographic, stabilometric indicators and the specifics of sports activity. Research object: Functional state of the neuromuscular system, psychophysiological features of athletes. Article of research: Changes in psychophysiological, psychological, electroneuromyographic, stabilometric indicators of athletes as a result of adaptation to intense sports training. Methods of researches: A complex of methods for determining the main parameters of the functional state and properties of the neuromuscular apparatus, individual typological features of the higher nervous activity of athletes, psychological testing, questionnaires , observation, statistical methods. Research results: The algorithm for assessing the functional state of the neuromuscular system of athletes based on psychophysiological and electroneuromyographic indicators has been defined and substantiated. Criteria have been developed for the use of stimulation myography indicators for the diagnosis of disorders of the functioning of the neuromuscular apparatus. Recommendations have been developed for trainers and rehabilitation doctors regarding the timely development of an individual training and medical rehabilitation program aimed at preserving the health of each athlete and his return to full training activities. Recommendations for diagnosis and correction of mental and psychophysiological conditions of athletes have been developed.
