As part of the assessment of the state of the animal's organism within the framework of "healthy-sick", the use of the existing values of the reference intervals is quite sufficient. If we consider the biochemical blood indicators within the framework of systems for assessing the body's provision of nutrients, work on clarifying the existing reference zones taking into account the season of the year, lactation number and stage of the reproductive-lactation cycle, different types of feeding and the conditions of keeping lactating cows is definitely in demand. It was established that during the reproductive and lactation cycle of cows there is a shift in the reference zones of biochemical blood parameters. The carried-out adjustment of the reference intervals allows to take into account the influence on the biochemical blood parameters of the processes of the restructuring of the metabolism associated with the change of the priority directions of the use of nutrients of high-yielding dairy cows. When using indicators of qualitative analysis, a stable reproducible regularity of changes in the metabolic status of cows in different phases of the reproductive and lactation cycle was found. The integral method of assessing the physiological status of lactating cows based on biochemical blood parameters can be used to improve the quality of monitoring in technological groups by accounting for changes in the entire array of measured indicators, including data on the composition of milk, live weight, fatness indices and other parameters.
