Subbotin name popup.description2 Generalized mathematical models for geomedia incorporating the hierarchy, discreteness, and oscillating dynamics of inclusions were developed. Asymptotic solutions to models with inclusions were calculated, their stability was studied, and exact polynomial solutions were derived. For a non-local model with inclusions, a solution describing the propagation of a quasi-harmonic packet was calculated. Multi-periodic solutions were calculated for the von Kármán plate with inclusions, their stability was studied, and amplitude curves were constructed. In a problem of forced oscillations of hierarchically composed oscillators as a model for a hierarchical media, localized mode existence was proved, their bifurcations and statistical properties were established. Assessment of seismic response of heterogeneous soils was performed theoretically. Amplification factors were calculated for layered soil systems, described by models with spatio-temporal nonlocalities, oscillating inclusions and physical nonlinearity. The regularities of shear deformation of granular medium were investigated experimentally and numerically. The statistical similarity of the process in the granular model medium and natural seismic processes is shown. The plane wave propagation in a discrete medium was simulated by DEM, the statistical properties of the massif, the formation of clusters, the spatial distribution and dynamics of the massif’s parameters were analyzed. The construction of a pulsed source of seismic waves based on the detonation of a gas mixture of acetylene and oxygen was developed and tested in landfill conditions. The device performance and mechanical stability within the studied pressures of the mixture of gases during the simultaneous detonation of the charge system are shown. The stresses in soil at the device action was studied and compared with the action of typical explosives. The device is a non-explosive source of seismic waves for geophysical research.
