The use of methods makes it possible to more correctly estimate the life of elements when the loads and the initial size of the defect are unknown. Using the previously proposed energy approach, calculation models and methods were built to determine the residual life of structural elements under the action of cyclic loads in deformation parameters, taking into account all three mechanisms of crack propagation - their combined action and independently. The methods of forecasting the residual life of the responsible elements of structures that work under the maneuvering mode of loading and the influence of a corrosive environment have been developed. The effectiveness of the methods was verified by comparing the obtained results of calculating the residual life of the rectification column and the rod of the field sprayer with the known ones.
