The sorption capacity of previously synthesized composite materials based on biogenic hydroxyapatite modified with magnetite (1, 5, 25, 50% by weight of the composition) and chitosan was investigated, which affects not only the storage, but also the adsorption properties of the composites. In vitro experiments were carried out on the rate of resorption of the obtained materials, which is confirmed by a change in pH, loss of mass and a decrease in the size of the particles of the materials. In addition, during experiments on Madin-Darby calf kidney cells and Madin-Darby dog kidney cells, no cytotoxic effect was detected for all composite materials, regardless of the ratio of components and the method of magnetite synthesis.
