The purpose of the work is the collection and processing of reporting forms of state medical statistics, regarding the identification of the main problematic issues of public health during the period of reforming the medical care system in Ukraine. Research methods are statistical, sociological, economic and systemic analysis. The tools used are official data from state medical statistics and data from a special study of public health problems. The novelty of the research is that the state of public health is being investigated for the first time in connection with the reform of the medical care system.
