The aim: to determine the features of the cytogenetic effects in vivo and ex vivo in lymphocytes of cancer patients with brachytherapy of different power compared with external radiation therapy depending on the tumor localization. Research methods and techniques: cytogenetic analysis of human blood cultured lymphocytes, statistical methods of data processing, microscopes Olympus CX41 and Olympus, image analysis. Theoretical and practical results: the dynamics of cytogenetic parameters of uterine cancer patients during radiation therapy with different regimen irradiation was determined. The most informative parameters for this study design were established. It was determined that the complex nature of the accumulation and elimination of chromosome damages during combined radiation treatment led to the absence of a significant difference between the chromosome exchange levels at the end of external and combined radiation therapy. Novelty: the quantitative yield and quality range of cytogenetic damage in blood lymphocytes of uterine cancer patients before and during external and internal radiation therapy depending on the irradiation regime.
