The object of research is the process of uncertainty of calculations of three-dimensional geometric models of peripheral blood cells, which are used for the subsequent diagnosis of blood pathologies. The purpose of the work is to reduce distortions of geometric characteristics that characterize the uniformity of the density distribution of the number of erythrocytes on the image plane of the microscope. To achieve the goal, a metrological assessment of the accuracy of measuring the geometric parameters of erythrocytes was carried out using modern methods of statistical multifactorial analysis of optical and digital conversion errors in the information channels of an interference microscope with a polychrome illuminator. In the work, studies of component errors of digital transformations of monochrome images were carried out by methods of factorial statistical analysis and mathematical models of software correction of three-dimensional monochrome and polychrome images of erythrocytes with an assessment of the risks of diagnosing blood pathologies, taking into account the known values of systematic and random component errors of digital transformation of optical images of erythrocytes. The proposed method of metrological assessment of the accuracy of measuring the geometric parameters of a polychrome optical microscope is based on the use of mathematical methods of making statistical decisions that characterize the unevenness of the geometric characteristics of the image. The use of the proposed technique made it possible to obtain sufficient information about the morphology of erythrocytes, which in turn made it possible to assess the dynamic processes occurring in peripheral blood cells and determine the degree of their functionality.
