The plasma-surface interaction of powerful hydrogen plasma flows was studied with three-dimensional tungsten surfaces made by additive laser printing, as well as capillary-porous systems proposed as an alternative to the protective components of the divertor fusion reactor DEMO. The obtained results will be used to improve the design of three-dimensional protective structures, as well as to improve numerical codes to predict damage to surfaces in contact with plasma in a fusion reactor. The results are the contribution of the Ukrainian research team to the work of the EUROfusin consortium within the framework of the working package of promising developments and research of technologies for the thermonuclear reactor. The characteristics of thin films Ti41Zr38.3Ni20.7 with radiation-thermal effects of hydrogen plasma with thermal load on the surface of 0.2 MJ/m2 were investigated. It was found that the quasicrystalline phase, as well as its related crystalline phases: the Laves phase, the α-solid solution and the phase 2/1 of the Ti-Zr-Ni crystal-approximant of the system were stable at irradiation by 20 pulses of hydrogen plasma. The phase composition does not change qualitatively. It has been shown that the changes that occur in the coatings mainly manifest as alterations in the substructure of the observed phases.  Product Description popup.authors Harkusha Ihor Ye.
