The purpose of the work: the development of a package of documents with effective descriptions of processes and instructions, which are distributed to all areas of the testing department's activities, which will allow maintaining the competence of the testing department in the declared area and perform the specified tasks in the field of quality and ensure trust in its activities. Results and their novelty: the result of the work is the accreditation of the testing department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine, as a conformity assessment body, for competence and independence in accordance with the requirements of the international standard DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17025:2019 (EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2017, IDT; ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT) in the field of: testing of means of armor protection, active defense, hand firearms, special means of non-lethal action, cartridges and pyrotechnic articles.
