Research methods - The work used generally accepted and standard methods, original methods that made it possible to establish an objective relationship between the studied parameters, a method of statistical processing of experimental data, regression-correlation analysis and methods of mathematical statistics and modeling. The influence of the composition on the technological properties of the low-temperature mixture for the manufacture of low-temperature casting molds is determined. The composition of the low-temperature mixture was optimized. A mathematical model has been developed and a simplex nomogram has been constructed, the use of which in the first approximation allows calculating not only the dimensions and number of feeders, but also the time of pouring a low-temperature mold with an aluminum-based alloy. The regularities, mechanisms and systems of regression equations of the influence of the main technological factors of casting on the conditions of protection of the surface of the magnesium melt were established, with their subsequent use for the development of technological processes and modernization of equipment and automated control systems of pressure casting complexes. Developed technological processes for melting magnesium alloys in a protective gas atmosphere with continuous or pulsed feeding to the melting and distribution unit. In order to create scientific and technological foundations for the use of external technological influences in the casting of aluminum alloys to improve the quality of castings and improve the technical and economic indicators of the casting process, regularities and mechanisms of the influence of the main technological factors on the mechanical properties of castings from the AK7сh alloy were established.
