The parameters of contact cooling of compressor units due to the rationalization of the main structural elements of the contact cooling system. Purpose. To find rational parameters of intermediate air coolers of turbocompressors depending on the operating mode and initial conditions, which corresponds to the minimum energy consumption. Research methods. The work uses theoretical, empirical and statistical methods of research: monographic (for the formation of the goal, tasks, subject and object of research); mathematical and computer modeling (to obtain characteristics of turbocompressors and contact heat exchangers); of mathematical statistics for processing the results of laboratory and industrial experiments. The developed mathematical model allows to increase the efficiency of mining turbocompressors due to finding rational technological parameters of the first and second intermediate air coolers. New dependences of the rational technological parameters of the cooling system of the mine turbocompressor depending on the operating mode and initial conditions, corresponding to the minimum energy consumption, have been established. During the development of the mathematical model, it was established that in order to improve the functioning of the compressed air cooling system, it is advisable to achieve the maximum pressure at the outlet of the second and third sections of the turbocompressor, which will correspond to the zero derivative of the pressure with respect to the velocity in the mouth of the venturi tube. The analysis showed that there is a maximum value of the rational speed at certain air temperatures, while this maximum increases with an increase in air flow.
