The concept of the "Ukrainian electronic encyclopedia of education" has been developed, which describes the goals, objectives, normative, and legal basis of its creation. The potential target audience, participants, characteristics and principles of creating a digital reference resource, types of articles and requirements for them, technical, and design concepts are described. The structure and functionality of the site, characteristics of data search tools, ergonomic requirements, and stages of project implementation are defined. The model of the "Ukrainian electronic encyclopedia of education" has been substantiated and developed. The beta version of the experimental sample of the "UEEE" was developed and tested.
