The object of the study is a broadband digital information transmission channel with frequency-selective fading The subject of the research is the methods of estimating the parameters of the multi-beam channel The purpose of the work is to analyze the possibility of increasing the accuracy of estimating the frequency characteristic of a multi-beam channel in broadband communication systems by using neural networks. According to the goal, the main tasks of the research are: 1. To analyze the methods of estimating the frequency characteristic of a multi-beam channel in OFDM systems, which are based on the use of pilot signals. 2. To analyze the application of neural in the tasks of interpolation and evaluation of the frequency characteristic of the channel in OFDM systems. 3. Develop a neural network for estimating the frequency characteristic of the channel based on the currently received OFDM symbol. 4. To analyze the effectiveness of the developed neural network by means of statistical modeling on a computer and comparing the results with known methods of estimating the values of the frequency characteristic of the channel. The study of the developed algorithms was carried out in the MatLab simulation environment by means of statistical modeling. The result of the work is a developed neural network for estimating the values of the frequency characteristic of the communication channel based on the currently received OFDM symbol. The neural network refines the estimation of the values of the frequency response of the communication channel on the pilot subcarriers and interpolates the values of the frequency response on the data subcarriers. The peculiarity of the work of the neural network is that the evaluation of the values of the frequency characteristic is performed in parts with the subsequent combination of the results.
